F. Tim Hensley, NREMT
​Director of Training / Instructor Trainer

F. Tim Hensley started his career in Emergency training at the age of 17 by obtaining his First Aid and CPR Instructor certification. He later started working in Emergency Medical Services were he gained many skills and experiences that he passes along to his students. While attending college Mr. Hensley worked for the National Park Service were he continued gaining experience in remote and wilderness EMS. Today, Mr. Hensley is a EMT for private EMS service, safety security consultant for major theme parks, reserve Deputy Sheriff, and volunteers with his local Rescue Squad. He continues to gain knowledge and skills every day that he still passes down to his students just like he did when he first started in Emergency Services and Public Safety.

Shawn W. Lindsay, EMD, COML
Director of Operation

Shawn Lindsay started his public safety career at age 15 as a Explorer with a Sheriff's Department and cadet program with the local volunteer fire department.  At age 18 Shawn became a reserve deputy and began volunteering his time at various emergency agencies.  He went on to work for the largest theme park in Tennessee while volunteering for the American Red Cross.  Today Shawn works as a 911 tactical dispatcher for a local county wide center.  With all his work he continues to volunteer for rescue squads and the National Park Service.  Shawn resides in Sevierville.

The latest in CPR and First Aid

We provide the latest training in Amercian Heart Association guidelines.  

These guidelines are the industry standard for high quailty CPR.

  • The HSI Basic First Aid course helps students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. This first aid training program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2025 AHA and Guidelines Update for First Aid.

    Intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire, or are required, to be certified in basic emergency medical care.

The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

AVIRT combines active shooter and bleeding control training to give you and your team the skills you need in almost any emergency situation. With AVIRT training, you'll learn under realistic circumstances how to recognize the signs of danger, react appropriately, and make rapid survival decisions.
